High Campbell Chairlift at Crystal Damaged by Avalanche

Damaged? Try gone.....I didnt follow that link but there is drone footage of the aftermath and part of a patrollers cell video that catches the chairs whipping around and whatnot.

Read the article - some tidbits:
* after hours and intentional
* 40 pound charge (yes, you read that right .... *40* freakin' pounds!!! Even though mentioned twice, that still seems like a typo.)
* the lift built in 1976 was already a high priority for replacement
 
While reading Admin's Crystal Mountain article, I was wondering if their lack of regret about using a large, economy-size bag of explosives was because their insurance would cover some of the replacement cost under the Acts of God clause?

Probably not, but a nice conspiracy theory. :bow:
