Unbelievable. That's all I can say. Yesterday I skied better conditions in the glades - on November 24th - in this neck of the woods yet- than I sometimes find mid-winter in north Vermont. I guess that's what 30" or so of fresh over a wetter, bondable base does. <BR> <BR>HV has invested the time and effort in thinning increased gladed areas for the last few years, and the "little mountain that could" seems to be getting more interesting and enjoyable to ski each year as a result. Days like today make me think that this year's Ski Magazine # 6 East overall ranking was earned honestly. <BR> <BR>Crowds were reasonable, as enough terrain was open to keep things dispersed well. Unfortunately, light rain was just starting to fall when we packed it in at 7:30pm.
