I just completed an interview with John Baldwin the author of 'Exploring the Coast Mountains on Skis. A Guide to Ski Mountaineering'

Although not a household name outside of ski circles, John Baldwin is known as the author of what probably is the most complete ski touring guide book on earth, Exploring the Coast Mountains On Skis; A Guide to Ski Mountaineering. For many people living in or near BC’s Coast Mountains this book is the ‘bible’ of ski touring routes.
John grew up in Vancouver and has been extensively exploring the Coast Mountains by foot and ski ever since. He has numerous first ascents and pioneered many long ski traverses including the 60 day Pacific Ranges Haute Route.
