Ah, much better. Winds were calm yesterday and it snowed lightly the entire day. While the exposed powder from the last 24 hours was a bit stiff from the gales on Monday, in the trees it was soft as could be. I did sweet runs down South Coulter, Riverton Bowl, and Buffalo Bowl. Big Horn and Secret Slope in Saratoga Bowl were hardly touched, even on my last runs of the day.

Early afternoon, I made a bit of a judgment error. After separating from the wife for a while to let her ski the groomers, we got back together and I took her on the traverse to Moran Face. It was perfect: barely tracked, nice pitch. Unfortunately, I forgot that there wasn’t a cat track there for her, so she started freaking out (she was on 68-waist skis).

Sorry for the uninspiring photos, I was having camera issues again, but I fixed it (unfortunately, after the lifts closed). .

January 29th and Jackson Hole...two that I will remember until I die. \:D/ Except it was in 2006. :P

That's another drag about a spouse who doesn't like to leave the groomed... tough to get in-action photos.

She could have taken a great action shot picture from the top of Corbet without skiing it.

Enjoy your trip James.

Unfortunately, Sublette was closed, so the top of the mountain was a no-go.
