Just got back from jay, skied from about 1 30 til 4, was sooo good. About 4 to 5 inches of fresh, we poached kitz and hells woods, was over a foot of powder in there, some deeper drifts, soooo incredible for december 1st and only one dig in the igneous' base<IMG SRC="http://www.firsttracksonline.com/discus2/clipart/happy.gif" ALT=":)"> SHould be there tomorrow as well.
 
Rode Jay on Sunday the 3rd. It was like a dream. We rode three runs in the trees off the lift which was pretty deep and still some fresh to be had. Then in the afternoon hiked up to the tram twice. We were planning on skiing the trees there but the runs were all UNTRACKED and DEEP!! So of course we poached these and then on the second run poked our noses into the woods and found what you'd expect, even more snow. Too bad the day couldn't have lasted forever! Still I there is meant to be more snow on the way this week so the whole mountain will have a great base to work with.
