This new glade at Jay Peak rocks! I've been skiing it for years but, with a few strategic chutes opened up at the top and a significantly thinned glade near the bottom, this glade is really fun. <BR> <BR>As I write, the grass in my front lawn in Burlington, VT is green and there is not one flake of snow. This past weekend, we were skiing through waist deep powder ( 3 - 4 days old) in Beyond Beaver Pond. The rest of the mountain (glades and woods) has a decent amount of snow, but not as much as the north side. The snow gets dumped there, in the bowl, as the storms coming out of the northwest blow over the ridge. Sort of like a mini Tuckerman's.
