I sure hope everything was OK at work, while I wasn't.

Overall snow conditions were pretty good although evidence of the past weeks snow/sleet/freezing rain/rain events was apparent.

None of the glades were open, probably w/good reason. The cover didn't look to deep and what was in there was icy. Upper Whirlway & Lower Exhibition was closed because of race prep. Just about everything else was open that I could see.

All the "expert" trails were in similar shape. Groomed in the middle w/some bumps along the edges. The bumps were kind of icy but there was also some good snow in there if you looked for it. The best snow was in the area between the groomed and the bumps. That stuff was sweet!

The intermediates were all pretty good. A little firm in the morning but loosening up nicely as the sun shined down on them all day.

As usual the mid-week crowd was invisible. It was ski up to the lift all day. When we were leaving around 3 there were a lot of kids in the lodge, so I assume school must have let out.

There is suppose to be a big storm coming tomorrow (6 to 12+) into Saturday night. If the sleet stays away the hill should be in great shape for the weekend and next week.
