This is a bit late, but I finally got around to editing the video tonight so I figured it was worth sharing. The 29th was the main day of the previous significant storm here in Mammoth. Mammoth patrol reported 29.5 inches overnight and the forecast called for heavy snow and winds all day. With the holiday crowds and weather, we decided that morning to head to June instead. This turned out to be the right call, since Mammoth only ran chairs 8/4/16/17 etc. I arrived at June a bit late (10am) and there was a solid line for the bottom chair. We rode up and headed to the rope to wait for the top chair to open. It did after about 15 minutes, and I did 4 laps there before hitting the bottom chair for 4 more and calling it a day. The snow was deep and required some pitch, but as you can see even the GoPro on top of my helmet caught a face-shot or two. Video highlights below:
