I arrived at around 9 am and never waited in a lift line all day. The conditions were good but a little scratchy. They had 25 trails open and I was impressed with the coverage. The few inches of snow yesterday really helped everything, but helped most by making the mountain look white and by improving surface conditions. The coverage was really not affected by the new snow, but the snowmaking really helped and Killington did a good job grooming the trails. I didn't see any bare or thin spots. They are expecting a lot of snow up here from this storm as well as snow and cold all this week. I can't wait to get back up here for Thanksgiving. Given the cold weather this week anything is possible as far as trail count. I would really expect around 80 trails. I'm just hoping for some good snow.
