Almost a month after official opening day, and after almost a week of shutdown due to warm weather, we're essentially back to opening days at Kmart. Ride gondola to K peak, ski down to Glades chair for runs on Rime, then down load Canyon quad for a pickup truck ride back to K base. <BR> The 24 hrs worth (Sunday&night) of man made cover has some icy and bare spots but is mostly a very nice (faux) packed powder. Though the previous night was (by the reports I saw) just cold enough to do so they chose not to blow snow, but the upside is that they also chose not to groom. This meant that the limited terrain was much more interesting, with some respectable lines of small moguls and various other formations. <BR> A shame to see all those pre-Thanksgiving top-to-bottom multiple trails back down to dirt, but at least we're moving in the right direction for now...
