I took a day off of work and skied the Big K today. I stayed mostly on Rams Head to practice tree skiing on Squeeze Play. I'm not that good of a bark muncher so the low angle trees are good practice. It was a surprise powder day. There were lots of fresh lines in the trees. I also tried the Jug to Jug Handle. I love those trails. Lots of powder with some scrachy moguls on the steep handle. Vagabond, Great Bear, and Flume were the same pow on ice moguls. Bittersweet was a wind tunnel. Most of the groomed was sweet packed powder. No lines on any lifts. It did get colder and windy as the day went on.
