Today was another $25 VT/NH/Quebec day at Killington, the next one is on Feb. 7th.

Killington was at 100% trail openage for this past MLK weekend. Canyon quad *was* running today (unlike a lot of weekdays).

With the natural snow leading up to this past weekend, Killington was able to focus some snow guns on places like Devil's Fiddle and the Ovation bottomwall which opened for the weekend.

The Monday afternoon snowfall freshed up the less traveled spots and there was even some un- or semi-un tracked to be found in the well known woods (Light, Steps, T.Bowl, etc.). There is still the occasional root or stump to be found in the woods. As I was popping out of the lower SuperStar woods, some genius up in the lift yelled down to me "what are the woods like, are there any rocks?"

On-piste, I did two laps each of West Glade/Royal Flush (south facing and the snow was getting soft - 30 degrees, sun) and Devils's Fiddle. The Fiddle was also getting soft in the sun. Yum.
