I got there about 11:00 and the parking lot was almost full. They had the K1
to the top and you skied down Great Northern to the glades area. By the time
I got there all of Rime and Lower East Glade were wall to wall bumps. Soft
forgiving bumps that haven't had a chance to ice up yet. Great Northern was
flat top to bottom all day. Middle Chute and Lower Bunny Buster were open
too. There was barely a lift line on either lift. Where were all the people
from the all of the cars in lot? The bumps were getting bigger as the day
went on and there were a lot of good bump skiers there too. Upper East Glade
had jumps and rails and the skiers left was groomed flat if you wanted a
break from the bumps on Rime. It was a blue jay day with not a cloud in the
sky. Lots of people were saying it was the best opening day ever. The
conditions were amazing for October.

Reeb
