As I pulled into the parking lot at 10 and saw way to many cars, I knew it would be pin ball skiing. Booted and up the K1 by 10:30 we skied the Goat Path around to the Glades area. The Path was already pretty icy with all of the traffic. Into the Glades and the guns were spewing everywhere. Upper East Glade and Upper Dipper were roped with many guns on both. Upper Rime was the only choice off the triple so the skier density was greatest here. Lower Rime had guns blasting every thirty feet so not to many went down it. Lower East Glade had no guns so everyone was going down it. It was a sheet of ice by noon. Lower West Glade was the other option but it had many guns and lots of rocks strewn about. You could either go back to the bottom or ski the Glades area. There was a short constant line at the Glades Triple and maybe a 10 minute wait at the K1 at it's worst. Lower Chute to Lower Bunny Buster had the best conditions. Lots of fresh man made pow. Lots of guns blasting on Snowdon. It should be open real soon.
