I went over to Killington to ski this morning.

Lift tickets are $25, ride pickup truck to Canyon quad to upload and download when done skiing (there is a placard at the downloading ramp stating that when there are downhill passengers the speed is limited to 250 feet per minute - yuck).

Rime (Upper and Lower) and East Glade (Upper and Lower) are open - that makes 4 trails - they are blowing very wet snow on Lower E.Glade and is not fun (traverse, gorilla turn, etc.).

They made snow all over last night and groomed, so it is a fresh and nice (for machine snow) surface. The snow guns were off on Rime and Upper E.Glade and there was no fog.

The lift shack thermometer at the base of the Glades chair read about 27 degrees at around 11 AM.

Where I saw snow guns running:
- From K.Peak down to Glades on Great Northern.
- They started up some guns on Upper Canyon (above Goat^H^H^H^H Great Northern).
- On Lower West Glade (more "Great Northern").
- The connector (Killink?) from the top of Snowdon to the base of the Glades.
- Rim Run (I think) going from the base of Glades over to Snowdon.
- A bunch of guns around the mid-section of Snowdon - it looked like under the upper lift line of the Snowdon quad - Bunny Buster.
- There were *NO* guns running on the bottom half of Snowdon as of late morning. I didn't see any other snow being made.

So, *maybe* they'll crank out a lot of snow tonight and get K.Peak to K.Base open tomorrow, but Sunday looks like a better bet due to the lack of snow on lower Snowdon.

P.S. The Stowe web site trail report indicates they have made snow on Lord, North Slope, and Ridge View - when they get all these covered, hopefully they can open the quad. Last word I heard is that they hope to open Sunday.)
