I'm struggling for the proper superlative. Horrific? Pathetic? The Evril K shrank back to early November trail count. The Great Northern wrap-around from the K1 gondola to the Glades Triple. Rime. East Glade. Ski out down Snowdon on Great Northern to Lower Bunny Buster. On Sunday, they got middle Chute going and sort of got Upper Bunny Buster next to the Poma going.

On Saturday, the parking lot was deserted at 8:00. Rime was groomed golf balls. East Glade was skids on wet snowgun ice patches to 2' water bar lips. Great Northern to the bottom was like parking jet aircraft in a sleet storm. I took 3 runs and bailed out.

Sunday, there was 4" or 5" of fluff on my car. The parking lot was half-full at 7:45 for the "epic powder day". It tracked out by 8:06. Upper Bunny Buster was open but the cover was laughable. Most years, you'd get your pass pulled for poaching it with that sort of cover. On Sunday, it was the best Killington had to offer.

We're hopping on a plane tomorrow AM for Vancouver. I'll ski Mt Baker on Wednesday and wander up to Whistler on Thursday.
