Due to our move to new servers, the date and time attributed to this post is incorrect.)</I> <BR> <BR>Friday 2/4- <BR>was with a beginner snowboarder in the am - perfect packed powder groomed slopes on Snowshed and Rams Head, the stuff you leave tracks in. No lines, sunny, perfect. Woods off Swirl on Rams Head were untracked - 1 foot deep. Just enough pitch to keep going, but had to intentionally keep your speed up. Climbed up above the Rams Head lift twice and the newbie got his first powder turns. Completely untracked for about 30 turns. <BR> <BR>in the pm, I was with my girlfriend. We got about fourth tracks on Needles Eye lift line trail. That and Vertigo were in great shape. With plenty of powder turns. <BR> <BR>Great day!! <BR> <BR>Saturday 2/5- <BR>Started off bad. Missed the 900am bus therefore I was 15 minutes late meeting Raymond. We used our talkabouts to meet up. First lift up Snowdon- it stops for about ten minutes with us on it near the top. A couple of chair ahead of us the people were able to jump off but we were too high. First run we hit some untracked woods. Second run we hit some untracked woods. Third run we hit some untracked woods. Dan Baron met us for one of those runs. Fourth run... Then the lift broke and we walked up to the triple and did it again. Then we meet my girlfriend and waited <BR>about 25 minutes to get up the K-1 gondola. Did I say it was cold and windy. <BR> <BR>Ray and friend Greg went in for some chow at the top. I rode down to Needles area and the needles eye quad wasn't running. We had to wait about 30 minute at Stage II. When we came back down the needles Eye quad started running and that's what we rode the rest of the day. Mixing Vertigo, Vertigo woods (when Ray meet back up with me) and Needles lift line. <BR> <BR>It was great to meet Ray and his friend, both woods crazed boarders. Great day!! <BR> <BR>Sunday 2/6 <BR> <BR>Very windy at KBL, NO wind and sunny at Bear Mountain. Devil's Fiddle, Devil's Fiddle, Devil's Fiddle!! Have to mention Superstar woods (all the snow was being blow in there, got fresh tracks at 3pm). <BR> <BR>Great Day!! <BR> <BR>Great Weekend!!
