Probably finished my year on Saturday at Killington. Thanks to vouchers from my son, who helped with adaptive skiing at Pico. Another son and I were able to ski for $25. I think they were also giving $25 to anyone who had a regular ticket too. Good gestures much appreciated at the end of the season.

Day began cool and that kept the moguls on north facing trails, Super Star and Ovation solid through the day (at least till 2:15 when we left). The woods were also problematical until later in the day. Only stuff left was next to Escapade and I think Julio could be done. I went right of the Escapade trees and finally found the left of Julio run after some serious bushwhacking and gully crossing. The debris also made things a bit tough. First tracks (at 2:00 p.m.) on what remained of Flume made it worth the work though. K1 Gondi, Superstar lift and the slow quad up to Sky Peak from Bear are all the lifts that remain, though that was plenty. Bear side will probably not last through the week. Coverage was good on Wildfire and Bear Claw. Outerlimits had enough snow, but getting there required some moss gliding on the traverse from WildFire. Basin was fairly solid with ample snow on all of the snow making trails and north facing stuff. Next weekend will probably see only K1 and Superstar.
