To my dismay, skiing mag has jumped on the bandwagon to write an article about our precious gem, Le Massif. Not good at all! <BR> <BR>I'll make a bet with you... $100 says that Le Massif will double its attendents from 115,000 last year.
 
Eastrider, I oughtta take that bet. This doesn't mark the first time that a major US print rag has published a story about Le Massif. Their circulation north of the border is negligible, and most Americans just think it's too darned far away (perception, not reality). A doubling of skier visits is way, way bigger than perhaps you realize. <BR> <BR>That article won't be directly responsible for more than a couple of percent, on a good day. <BR> <BR>OTOH, you want expansion onto the third summit (as do I), and you want it to be something more traditional (as do I). You can't do that without increased visits to justify the investment, so don't be so dismayed. <BR> <BR>I haven't yet seen the piece. Which issue?
 
Yeah, you're right... I should probably just chill out... but I certainly hate larger crowds since they tend to rip up the powder real fast... <BR> <BR>The article is in the current issue of skiing magazine... its a few pages long and its got a nice picture of the river with Le Massif in the distance...
