i had a feeling that lcc would have some trouble today as i earlier stated in another thread. i advised friends of mine to get up high yesterday so what do they do? they go to pow mow and get rained on most of the day and quit by 1pm. hopefully they take my brighton advice for today. they are extremely strong skiers and are pretty good at sniffin stuff out. solitude could be great if cold enough and if lcc does indeed open by 10 am. i certainly wouldn't wait at lcc for a late opening when i could be skiing fresh in bcc with no worries.
good storm!

Snow was thick and heavy yesterday at 8500', so I think waiting for LCC to open is a good idea. Solitude is lower in elevation and while it will have plenty of untracked, it will be heavy and thick. I'm holding out to ski elevation today. We can ski fresh snow tuesday in BCC as it is supposed to get much colder late tonight and the snow should dry out and lighten up in density. I'd like to ski Snowbird on Monday.
