wed: overcast and steady sprinkles all day... fresh inch of fake packed pow over hard packed... 2 real trails down.. upload on gondy and ski/ ride the double... about 40 f and little wind. empty till 1pm when kid racers show up and terrorize all civilians,, no bumps
thurs: same routes down but soft wet packed corn would be the only way to describe it... it was killer... soft and creamy carves and no ice... partly cloudy and no rain at all.. very empty and no kid racers today!!!! no moguls but great snow to work with. about 48 f and 15 mph wind out of the west... no snow on trails except one that are open
fri: they opened up another route off the top from the triple and another blue square leading down to the double for a total of 4 real trails and 2 ways down.. all blues... nice wet packed corn just like day before but a little heavy in the afternoon.. no problem as long as u are up and on 'em... no bumps.. little more crowded in the pm with 2 kid race teams burning turns... they had about 100 guns laid out all over the mountain on the brown trails just waiting for the gun to sound ... looks like snow fri nite into sat and cold temps at nite for 72 hours... saw a guru on the weather channel who emphatically stated that a high pressure system that has been causing the mild temps will shift by wed and we will finally get it going!!! lets hope so!!!! back on tues .. probably loon again
