loon for two before the 10 day lay-off during the insanity of school vaca and holiday weekend... thursday saw 2 inches of fresh and light to cover the hardpack... they reset the bumps on angel st with machines and they were really about as unskiable as they could get...the funkiest looking things i have ever seen but will probably be pretty good once they get broken in...perfect competition fall lines resulted... everything else is the same... hardpacked scrapped off to bullet proof by 1 pm... they did drag out double dipper which is actually good cause the ah " moguls " that had formed on it were pretty sad.... two good things are that seem to be maintaining some sort of compression tank on bear claw trail to teach absorption and extension and that they seem determined to let the blue line under the quad bump up and by friday afternoon, some really nice medium bumps w/ actual fall lines had formed... ironically, some of the best snow on the hill was on this trail... if you are an aspiring bumper it's not a bad trail to learn on ...nothing worse than trying to bump on angel st if you are a beginer... 5 minute ride on the quad gets you a decent and moderately pitched bump run... i am in fear for it though after the carnage that will be taking place this week... loon needs snow desperately as it appears they are done blowing the fake...see you all in 10 days, likely from jay-land for three!!!!!!
