We got a late start and that was too bad because there was 3-4" of light freshies over night. By 10:30 the hounds made there tracks on all the piste and we were just starting our first run. I headed down C-Bowl as a warm up while my friend Jeff (intermediate) took Upper Antelope. The bumps were soft and pillowy with freshies left on the sides. I convinced Jeff to do Lower Antelope with me. I love this trail and with the fresh snow it was the best I've seen it in awhile. Jeff had a blast too even though it took him a while to get down it. We headed for the double so Jeff could do Quacky and I headed for Panther to B-Land to do The Winkle. There was lots of fresh tracks to be had and the bumps on Lower Periwinkle were superb. Not a hint of ice or hard pack under them at all. This is good practice slope for people who want to improve on moguls. More moguls on the double and it was back to the single. I tried Fall Line while Jeff did Antelope. Fall Line was in great shape. Lots of pow everywhere with some hard spots scraped off here and there. Hey Mark Renson, what's up with the cordoned off areas on Creamery? Are they growing little tree islands in the middle? There was Lynx/Beaver, there was Chute/Lower Glade, a few Canyons thrown in and there was one very tired rubber legged skier by 3:30 with no stop for lunch. This place always beats me up.
