Mad River was packed to the ceiling rafters. There were lines on Birdland, lines on Callie's Handle Tow. Good 30 minutes for single at peak. Cricket Club Daycare was full, but not before we checked the boy in for the day. <BR> <BR>We took it easy, skiing smooth groomers and lightly chopped powder, trying to avoid the hard bumps and biggest crowds. That's one of the things I like about a place like Mad River: just enough ungroomed in the corners and sides and here and there that when skied hard, Sunday green circles and blues are almost as entertaining as the Saturday woods.
