Friday Ski Club took aim at Mad River Glen for this week's meeting. We arrived at the lazy hour of tenish, with a sack full of low expectations. <BR> <BR>By second run, expectations were thrown out the window. Two to three inches of powder on a still soft surface and still snowing. We were blasting heroic turns with abandon both on and off piste. I was sToked on my sTokelies. Hear winter roar. <BR> <BR>Work is for losers. <BR> <BR>We skied until they shut off the lift, mixing it up between soft velvety cruisers and powdery trees. I heard a couple of people talk about it having rained Thursday, but I thin they were full of it: conditions were way too good.
