I hit Magic on Saturday. Never have I seen so much snow there. First run was down the Goniff? glades just skiers' right of the double. I thought I was on a different trail. Where were all the rocks, stumps and sapplings? Nothing but snow and more snow. Skiing through the glades was phenomenal. Not a rock in sight and beautiful snow. Even at the bottom where the trail runs out of the woods it was tons of beautiful snow.

Next run I went skiers left off the the double. Skied along that little ridgeline trail and saw everyone standing at the edge of that steep trail that I've never seen open. I never stopped to look, I just went right over the ridge onto that trail for some of the best turns I've ever made. Found myself whooping and hollering all the way down. Again, rocks, stumps? None of those here either.

Made a number of runs on Redline, the trail directly under the double. Beautiful, beautiful snow. Like a fun ride on a rollercoaster.

Every where I went it was the same. Nothing but snow and more snow. My only regret is that family obligations kept me from going back on Sunday.
