Magic is 100% open and had wonderful loose and packed powder. Saturday was warm and the snow at the bottom of the hill was lsightly crusty, but who's complaining. Today there were fewer people, but a healthy crowd by Magic standards and both chairs were running. <BR> <BR>The trails held up to the traffic pretty well with only a couple of thin spots showing on master magician and Red Line. Magic had done some grooming, but the snow was loose enough that most of the groomed blues quickly bumped up. <BR> <BR>The black diamond trails had excellent coverage, some with huge powder moguls. The better bumps were on narrow and steep trails, but there was something for everyone. <BR> <BR>I did hear a few complaints about moguls on intermediate trails from people who ski other places, but skiers, boarders, telemarkers and teleboarders were all having fun. There were still some untracked powder in places despite the heavy weekend crowds. <BR> <BR>I hope this level of snow coverage continues for awhile. The deep loose base is really fun to ski.
