Magic VT 1/10

Fresh snow giving way to sunshine, light crowds and wonderful snow what a way to spend Friday at Magic. I was able to get 'buck a run by 12:30 PM (for those who don't know what this is it is lift ticket price divided by number of runs). Magic had recieved another 8-10 inches of snow since Sunday and was sweet. <BR> <BR>It was PA, NJ & NY day at Magic, but I did a little better with my ski club discount. There were no lift lines, the area was 100% open and with new snow the lines were sweet. Magic did groom some of the black diamond trails to my dismay parts of: Sorcerer, Talisman and Lucifer were groomed along with the typical grooming of Wizard. <BR> <BR>There were lots of people skiing Magic for the first time and they seemed to be having fun. Southern VT has a lot of snow and while there was a rock or two present on the really steep stuff at Magic there are plenty of lines to ski and ride.

First time there in a couple of years, the conditions were perfect, fresh tracks all morning, sunny afternoon, light crowd, $15 tix, doesn't get much better.
