First time at Mont Orford. Really liked the terrain. Did not like the conditions! The rain event last week must have hit Orford pretty hard. Hard packed crust/ice on about 99% of the terrain. Didnt venture into the woods, but took a peak and did not like what I saw. Hard crust, stumps, rocks. Spent most of the day on the Village Quad, as there was no crowd over there and liked the steep groomers. Best snow of the day was found on the trail that runs under the summit triple (bad w/trail names, sorry!). Despite the conditions, I had a great time and would like to try it again sometime.
