OK Let's make it clear. MRG is the best ski area in the East. Patrick will be happy. But it's far away from Quebec City!

One of my usual skiing mountain is MSA.
The expert only trails as seen from Val-des-Neiges and Domaine des Neiges condos (1 mile from Mont-Stainte-Anne). Check the first picture. Left to right: L'Espoir, St-Laurent (under a triple chairs), the twins or S and Super S, 7-Chutes (under a double yellow chairs), Canyon, Gondoleuse, Pionnieres and Gros-Vallon.
Just the day before another storm of 20 inches and very windy. Still lot of powder and all the ski trails were open. We skied Sept-Chutes, Gondoleuse and glade trail call Brunelle. Quiet amazing to see lot of moguls on L'Espoir, Super S since these trails are normaly on man-made snow and flat. Kind of good old-time flavor of the 70's. Lot of fun and when the music was over the wolverine just eat a rabbit (as seen on last picture)!! Perfect meal...Miammm! miammm!

I haven't been to MSA for over 20 years but decided to schedule
a week there starting Dec.30. Because of last winter I paid for cancellation insurance. If the thaw only lasts two days as forecasted it appears that I won't need it.

I just returned from Mt. Saint Anne and Le Massif.

No need to worry. The snow depth has to be at least 5 feet.

VERY SERIOUS SNOW...It was a blast

Coming back from MSA (Dec. 22).
Very few skiers on the mountain
No lift-line.
Light rain and about 33F.
All the big stuff on South Face is full open.
Light snow expected tomorrow and Wednesday puting some coffe cream on top.
Everything is set for a great show from the visitors!
I heard some Russian speaking today...
