This is Quebec in February ? Most trails were open, and the north face was fine top to bottom. For some reason, the north face was getting shut down shortly after 4:00 PM. The south side has night skiing till 10:00PM. Even on the south face, the icing was barely noticible in late afternoon on the easy & intermediate trails (we didn't do the expert trails). The lower slope sugar was tedious. For the XC fans, this area also has 240 km. of XC trails that rise high enough that the XC diamonds are at the same elevations as the mid or top of the alpine slopes (reported to me by my friend who did some of the exeprt XC trails and also did some alpine).
