On to last Saturday. There was no avalanhce danger sans a few ice chunks falling off of the Headwall. What was most important was The SKIING. Brilliant bluebird skies and there was a freeze the prior night. The new snow in The Bowl from the prior week had not set up and I was gonna' ski it, but somehow the Mountain Gawds musta' whispered something in my ear and I headed to Left Gully where hardly anyone was skiing. It's too bad, because there was corn to harvest! I made two runs from the top that were as good as it gets for Tucks. The corn was fast 'n furious 'n fantastic! The Bowl never got as good as Left Gully, though, as some gloppiness remained, though many were whooping it up there under warm temps and brilliant skies.

No hi-jinx or bad weather and nothing else for me to say except it looks like I ended my season on a VERY high note. There is still good skiing to be had there.
