Mt Aire, Mill Creek Canyon, Utah 10/6/13

After nearly 2,000 vertical feet of skiining and low-tide skiing yesterday I wasn't sure that I wanted to hike again today, but Mrs. Admin and I found ourselves walking out the door with AmyZ, her friend Hailey and Jake to climb another 1,800 verts by returning to Mount Aire in Mill Creek Canyon.

The day was cloudless, windless and warm with melting snow and changing leaves. In short, beautiful, although the melting snow made for a muddy, mucky trail at times.

As always it felt good to get out!

Looks very nice! What kinda camera are you shooting with? Say hi to all!
Acid

Acidchrist...kinda like a ghost that sweeps in and out on the wind.

Believe it or not it was my old phone's camera. Samsung phones have been including some pretty good shooters in recent years. About the only thing they lack over a separate point-and-shoot is an optical zoom (with one fairly ridiculous exception that had it).

Those pics were taken with either my Galaxy Note II or AmyZ's Galaxy S3, both of which had an 8MP camera. Just yesterday, however, I traded in my Note II for a Note 3, which is 13MP.

Hahaha! And why exactly would I pay more money for inferior technology, just so I can have a picture of a piece of fruit with a bite taken out of it?

Maybe not anymore, but the photo quality was always seen as superior. Maybe not anymore. Beautiful shots.

Just giving admin a hard time; he told me about 5 years ago that his palm treo was gonna put the iPhone out to pasture. Seriously tho, nice pics:-)
