When things are going well in your favor, one must be humble. So today I decided to post photos of the parking lot!
We arrived around 8AM, I was with SST (short for South Side Tommy) my friend who has shared a ton of sweet runs off of the back of Mt Bachelor.
They were plowing again, but today there was even a little sun to brighten things up.
There's an ODOT Rotary Snowblower out there somewhere in the back lot. It snowed another 8" overnight after yesterday's 6-8" or so, I forget. I love these PNW storm cycles. Last night it snowed a few inches in Bend, when we pulled up it was 18 degrees. I have a fresh 158 Brando by Lando (Lib Tech) that works really well in our local conditions.
It's been snowing for weeks but we expect only 1-3" overnight, with more during the day on Thursday but with clearing on Friday. I can't believe how our fortune has changed!
Stats: With nearly 300 inches of snowfall at the 7300' site we are in good shape. I don't know when we're having the 100 inch party but it's overdue with 55" in the last seven days and an unbelievable 117" at 6300' and 150" at mid. FCK'n A!
