The afternoon Conditions Report said it better than I:
Thursday Feb 25, 1:00pm (update #10)
Today we saw some of the best conditions of the season with light, luscious pow and blue skies. The backside was choice today. A thin layer of stratus clouds have moved in this afternoon and the snow is anticipated to return this evening. More freshies tomorrow!
I quickly lost power in my camera (dooh) this morning but not until I snapped off a few. They do give you an idea of what things looked like here today. The Slope Style Park looks forgiving.
The Cinder Cone gets the early morning "earn your turns" crowd for a few laps.
At about 7000' in the Cascades this morning. Oooh, it's gonna be good today!
Part way up the Summit Chair. The deep stuff is always off the back, as this side gets more wind as the winds clock out of the NW as the fronts move through. Some stats: 16" new in the last two days, 92'" West Village, 102" Mid, 296" season.
