Today was a total sleeper. One would be cautiously optimistic with a 2-4" new overnight and 20 degrees. But it's mid-April in a drought year after two days of baking sun. Well, my first run off Skyline and I'm in shin-deep fluff with an occasional face shot but you can feel the frozen underneath. But the new snow quality was so nice I ignored the subsurface. And it continued to pound down and the turns got softer and softer as I migrated over to Pine Martin and Outback. We have little in the way of visitors so there were lots of lines. My pics were taken early and don't tell the truth about what a great day of riding it was!
It's supposed to clear around midnight so tomorrow looks to be another special Summit Chair day, bluebird and a lots of cold fresh to enjoy.
