Well, the lastest in a series of potent storms moved into the Central Oregon Cascades last night. NOAA really had it pegged and Mt Bachelor picked up 21" since 3 PM yesterday. It snowed like crazy in Bend as you can see. I decided today I'd better invest in a snow blower. Even though the snow fell at 12 degrees in town there was just so much volume for my old back!
I opened my garage door to this. Quattro Audi, lowered, hmmm…
It snowed a couple feet overnight and I like to park in front during the week, so this was my afternoon chore today.
Tons more pow today but this one came in a little more "normal" for us, so the string of ultra light pow days came to an end. No worries though, this series, due to last through the weekend will put the rocky traverses away until next summer.
Stats: 7 Day snowfall 58", Depths at Mid-Mountain 108", West Village (6300') 87"
