The much anticipated storm arrived a little late and there was only 4" new at the 6:30 AM report. We live 22 miles and 2400 vertical feet lower so the reports are all important. I decided to get a little work done (actually, shoveling sidewalks at my place of work) before heading up. I was betting the powder to grow deeper as the day went along, so no need to stress about getting the early chair. After about 45 minutes of shovelling in a major pounding ass snowstorm, it was time to play hooky and get up there!
Looks like the storm has arrived.
That's my son Carson (in the blue slacks) and his posse reveling in the maelstrom.
Did I mention that it was snowing? We got 16" today, so far, and our base is at 39" @ 14 degrees at 5 PM. Last Saturday our base stood at 8".
