Ring, ring...what's that sound? No, it's not the IRS. It's the sound of "Off the Hook".
It was one of those days you wait all season for. No it wasn't waist deep, yes it was sunny. Problem was you didn't know where to go because it was all soooo good. I'm still shaking my head.
I took a shot of these guys coming down right after me in the bowls. The snow just wanted to jump up and celebrate springtime.
There were so few people around, so there was time to stop and shoot. Here are my tracks on my second run off the top. The snow was like a blanket draped evenly over the entire Summit area.
Another look at the Pinnacles area near the top. We have 152" base up here now after several weeks of near constant snowfall.
I dropped the line to the skier's right of these two pinnacles. Just a terrific day.
After three runs on the face it was time to start lapping the back. Man, it was sweet with pow right off the top. But if you didn't want freshies today, you could do these perfect groomers below NWX. And maybe veer off the piste to cool off your feet, if you wished.
Airplane views again today with the South Sister keeping you company in the distance. Remember the guy who wanted to know where to go in mid-April? And we haven't even had a corn cycle yet!

Here is a vid from staff at Mt Bachelor from this morning. All that telemarketing makes me dizzy!
