Mt. Bachelor

I don't know if you guys have noticed, but over in central Oregon, we've got one great mt, dealing with one great winter. Mt. bachelor currently has a base of 130+ and continues to receive new snow regularly. On Sunday feb. 26 me and my buddies were able to travel outside the college area in eugene and hit bachelor on a calm day after a violent storm. We skied the mountain hard, making rounds on northeastern which was its first day open after the storm. lost of fresh tracks there and a few face shot in the trees. We also hit up rainbow which was awesome. It had some great bachelor like cornices with deep pow pow below. After eating lunch we headed to rainbow with a shovel. We built a sick booster near some trees making a 10ft table top with a nice powder landing. We hit this jump hard pretty much the rest of the day and met up with some other kids we knew that threw down too. All around it was a great day with great vibs, brought the new camera along to share the memory.

Thanks, Jack. I particularly appreciated the timing of your post as I'm leaving in about 90 minutes to fly to Redmond.

Welcome to Liftlines.

Jack , I skied there over Xmas. Although base was substantially lower, we still had a great time. Fun Fun mountain and Bend was a great town..Can't wait to go back..
