I had a good day at Baldy today. There is plenty of powder in the trees (over 2 feet). Tuesday should be more of the same. Still an occasional hidden rock, but decent coverage overall. See report at http://www.skisocal.org/cgi/ski.pl/detail/18;current

Baldy was excellent this past Sunday. The day started off sunny and then a big storm rolled in a little after noon, and they finally opened up chair 4 for some late day fresh tracks. Hopefully all the rain that fell around here today will mean more snow on the mountain. After today's weather I wish I could call in sick tomorrow or Wed but it looks like I'll have to wait until the weekend. But who knows...

Thanks for the welcome... there is a lot of great info in these threads. Hopefully I'll be at Baldy this Sat and Sunday. A buddy of mine is up there today. Lucky bastard - he's buying the Baldy Brew this weekend.
