Nice pics- i know those turns very well. It really gets dangerous sometimes when those pickup trucks that are filled up with snow (you know what i'm talking about...) come barreling down those turns trying to get down to the valley before their snow melts. Rockslides are also an interesting way to keep up your driving skills.
I was just up there today- 3/30/06 Thursday- and all of the at snow is gone. There are only patches of snow in the upper turns and only gets filled in just under the Baldy base. The difference those switchbacks make in terms of elevation/snow depth is really amazing.
