Once again our beloved Mt Waterman rises from the ashes of the hot Santa Ana winds. A select few were able to enjoy the rarest of gems.... a bona fide Waterman Powder Day. The conditions featured 8" to 15" of new snow with no wind and bluebird skies for the first 3 hours. Snow flurries arrived later in the afternoon. The attendance was surprisingly low . It was nice to have our pick of the lines , however they really could have used some more skiers. I'm sure they need the business. The coverage in the resort was quite substantial considering they had not received any snow in over a month.
