New ski 'area' at Telluride?

Not exactly. More like a possible snowcat operation... But I find even that to be iffy. These guys have zero access to get guests to their inholding without going through Telluride's ski lifts, etc... Seems to be a close match to prior behavior out of this goofball. He's just looking for money from someone to buy him out and way overpay for the ~100 stranded acres they jumped on a few years ago.

From the Denver Post:

Real estate broker to announce plans for new ski resort near Telluride

Seems like nonsense.

This appears to be simply a cheap 'vaporware' press release. And a sloppy website.

I doubt a formal plan costing $ will ever be submitted.

There is not really a feasible way to get skiers to the base of the mining claim. This eliminates the snow-cat. And the heli operation? If Telluride Helitrax is not skiing there - there is a reason.

The only good thing: you can ski across the property if you sign a waiver (link broken) which might allow the gates to be back open officially.

Overall, just stupid.

Telski really purchased the land required (small claim) to create an intermediate pod in Bear Creek - they do not need this.
