Nice Day at the Basin Today

Had a very nice day at A-Basin today. Temps in the high 30's, a bit of wind but not much, nice snow. The new Montezuma Bowl is a real joy, but I wish they had built a high speed quad for access.

It's always good to be at the basin. I'm glad they kept the fixed grip theme at Abasin. I think the new montezuma bowl spreads out the crowds and keeps few enough people from being on the summit all at the same time.

And judging from the early season comments about how long it took Montezuma to get covered, I don't think we want high skier density back there.

Not to mention us tele skiers need the extra rest. :lol:
