Just in after 14 days of skiing in Shames mountain, Smithers and Shames backcountry. I had a wonderful time there; with a 5-6 feet of snow in my first 6 days, followed by sunshine for 4 days (excellent for backcountry turns) and 4 days of spring skiing. Couldn't ask for more in a ski vacation. I met very nice people around Terrace B.C., the locals are really kind! Here's a couple of pics.

Nice trip Lucky. I checked the Shames website this morning and the road was closed for avy control.

You really timed it right.

I know that Lucky is going for a few days to NH for his kids Spring Break so I don't think I'll post more pics. There are a few more pics from his trip on Zoneski.
