The snow cover was pretty thin (compared to Stratton one day earlier) but Stratton closed very early that day so I really had no choice but to go to Okemo. If you asked me if it was worth driving from New York City or Boston, I would say absolutely not, even though the lift tickets were free, I believe. I have a season pass and I live less than 20 minutes from either Okemo or Stratton so it was worth the 20-minute drive. I had to dodge a lot of thin and bare spots, rocks and sometimes even jump over.
