Due to our move to new servers, the date and time attributed to this post is incorrect.)</I> <BR> <BR>Skied the free hour with friend Bill at Okemo. J-3 race had <BR>things hopping early. Not sure that they got it in with the soft conditions. Snow showers gave the mountain a wintery look, but the soft granular conditions indicates that spring is coming. We were able to cruise World Cup, Defiance, three runs in the South Ridge area and Rim-Rock, before stopping for hot chocolate at the top. Seven runs in all, then free Special K-cereal at the bottom (some promotion). Not a bad deal. Okemo has good coverage, but most of the natural trails are gone. French Connection at the bottom is still hanging in, but just barely (pun intended).
