It was around 42 degrees F most of the day with on and off sunshine, rendering the lower slopes a slushy but firm warm-weather delight. Cover was thin in spots down low, but up high temperatures were lower and the snow stayed relatively dry. The terrain in the Extreme Dream Zone was cut-up fluff, but down low the off-piste was marked by heavy slush and/or sun crust. When the sun wasn't shining it threatened to rain or snow, but nothing really happened all day. Some new snow would be welcome to dress things up.
