PCMR 1/28/13 - The Goods

Been skiing the last few days here. Dumped last night. Reported 7" snow of new snow. I'd say in the deep spots it was knee to thigh high.

I'll let the pictures do the talking.

I headed straight up to Jupiter and lapped it until it was almost completely tracked. Skiied from 9 am to 4 pm with a short 20 min break for coffee. Not quite face shots, not quite bottomless but really did hit the spot after a couple days of skiing groomers.

About 23 deg at the start of the day and was about 9 degrees at the end.

My favorite part about PCMR is skiing in between the aspens. Not quite the steeps of your typical big mountain ski experience but always a good time.

Off to the hot tub.......

Nice photos! I was only able to get there at 3 yesterday, but I was still able to find some good skiing in the trees off Pioneer. I'm sure it was crazy in the morning as it had been a while since they received a decent snowfall. Looking forward to getting out there again this afternoon and fingers crossed that the actual snow total matches what was forecast.
